To members and visitors and friends, growing and glorifying:
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, who is worthy of worship and praise. Time is determined to not wait on anyone. Time is still filled with swift transition. So many loved ones have gone on from last year till now. So many things have changed, as well as, so many people. Yet, God is immutable, He changes not. Let us continue to lean and depend on our awesome God to do for us that which we can not do for ourselves. Blessings and glory and honor all belong to Him.
Grace and Peace Be Unto You,
Pastor Marvin D. Chapman & Family

God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit
The mission of Old Palestine Missionary Baptist Church is to sow our heart’s wishes into hopes of Jesus Christ, into the many hearts of Taylorsville, Mississippi, and to the ends of the earth. We strive to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community. Our mission involves creating a Church that can be a safe gathering place for people of all cultures to come experience the grace and forgiveness of God; a family of believers where they can find healing for the things that have hurt and wounded their souls; where they can belong and believe; where they can be nurtured and disciplined into faith in the one true God and in Jesus Christ whom He has sent.
